Civil rights organisation, Action Society, has slammed alleged baby snatcher, Sameemah Jacobs, for using "delay tactics" in a kidnapping case being heard in the Bellville Magistrates Court.
Jacobs allegedly abducted nine-day-old Imaad Sharmar from his mother at the Middestad Mall in June this year, while pretending she was a volunteer for an NPO.
The accused made a brief appearance in court on Tuesday after presenting her lawyer with a request to have her bail conditions amended.

Jacobs's Legal Aid lawyer told the court she was not ready to proceed with an application for her client's bail conditions to be amended.
Jacobs was granted bail with strict conditions to stay out of Mitchells Plain, where Baby Imaad and his mother, Imaan Sharmar, reside.
Three weeks ago, Jacobs made a request for her bail conditions to be amended.
She told the court she wanted to fetch her belongings at her former residence in Mitchells Plain, despite strict bail conditions that prohibit her from being in the area where Baby Imaad and his mother reside.
However, since then, Jacobs has had three different Legal Aid lawyers and the application is yet to be made.
Action Society's Kaylynn Palm believes the defence had enough time to prepare their application.
"This is just another delay tactic, which is absolutely ridiculous. The family needs to get some sort of closure regarding this case. So for us, as Action Society, we're disappointed yet again."
The matter was postponed to 6 November to give Jacobs's lawyer more time to submit the application.
