ActionSA has accused former councillor in the City of Johannesburg, Ayanda Mchunu, of bringing the party into disrepute.
The party rubbished as untrue a statement by Mchunu’s spokesperson, Elmari Attebury, that she’s been reinstated to her former post.

Mchunu is part of a group of eight who were dismissed in September for failing to do their jobs.
The former councillor last week filed an urgent interdict for her replacement in the party.
Spokesperson for the eight councillors, Attebury, said while it was only one applicant in the matter, the fight was for the reinstatement of all councillors.
On Tuesday, Attebury said in a statement that the party and she had come to the conclusion of reinstating her; however, this was disputed by ActionSA, adding that because of the dishonest statement, negotiations between the former councillors and the party were now closed.
