Jacobs allegedly abducted nine-day-old Imaad Sharmar from his mother at the Middestad Mall in Bellville four months ago while pretending she was a volunteer for an NPO.

Baby Imaad's mother, Imaan Sharmar, said she feels helpless after yet another postponement in the kidnapping case related to her child's abduction.

Three weeks ago, Jacobs made a request for her bail conditions to be amended.

Jacobs told the court she wants to fetch her belongings at her former residence in Mitchells Plain, despite strict bail conditions that prohibit her from being in the area, where Baby Imaad and his mother reside.

Sharmar said she's beginning to question the justice system.

"I'm just standing here watching it all happen, not being able to do anything because I have to leave everything in the law's hands and it's frustrating because I feel like my hands are tied."

The matter was postponed to 6 November for Jacobs's lawyer to submit the application.
