The Democratic Alliance (DA) has again accused Higher Education Minister Buti Manamela of choosing African National Congress (ANC)-aligned people to fill the vacant boards of Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs).
The latest accusation follows Manemala's recent decision to appoint ANC-linked people and former leaders to be administrators of some of the country's struggling SETAs.

DA higher education spokesperson, Karabo Khakhau, said that Manamela had done it again by appointing a former ANC mayor and a provincial executive member to the country's 21 SETAs.
This follows previous appointments by former minister, Nobuhle Nkabane, that was abandoned before her dismissal.
"Minister Buti Manamela's new SETAs are like we expected, yet again stacked with ANC cadres."
She said that Manamela concealed the list for 28 days before releasing it on Wednesday.
"We now see why, because those appointments, again like Nobuhle Nkabane, have a plethora of ANC cadres from former mayors from KwaZulu-Natal of the ANC to members of ANC provincial executive committees, to members of the youth league executives."
