The Reiger Park community in the City of Ekurhuleni, east of Johannesburg, is demanding justice for six people gunned down in a horrific attack that’s left residents worried about their safety again.

It’s understood the occupants of two vehicles opened fire at random on Saturday night.

Three others were also left injured.

While two gang members on the run have been identified as possible suspects, the motive for the attack remains unclear.

While police have increased their visibility in the area since the shooting, residents remain panicked.

The community members who were at the scene when the shots were fired said they are at their wits end, calling for arrests to be made urgently.

“Justice must be done. I believe it must be done. I am very upset – I am very sad,” said one of the residents.
