Alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack will continue with cross-examination in the Western Cape High Court on Monday.
Last week, Modack turned his back on co-accused Zane Kilian, claiming he was part of a conspiracy against him involving his alleged underworld rivals, the now-deceased Mark Lifman and Andre Naude.
Kilian previously told the Western Cape High Court Modack instructed him to track the whereabouts of prominent criminal defence attorney William Booth before an attempt on the lawyer's life five years ago.

Last week, Modack accused Kilian of lying under oath, saying he never instructed Kilian to ping Booth.
Evidence shows Kilian pinged Booth several times before the attorney survived a shooting at his Higgovale home in April 2020.
State prosecutor Greg Wolmarans questioned Modack about why co-accused Kilian would lie about pinging Booth on Modack's instruction.
Modack told the court Kilian was doing the same investigative work for Lifman and Naude.
He insists the charges he faces are part of a conspiracy by his alleged underworld rivals and corrupt cops.
This week, the prosecution team is expected to question Modack about his alleged involvement in the murder of top cop Lieutenent Colonel Charl Kinnear.
