State prosecutor Greg Wolmarans on Tuesday showed the court how defence attorney William Booth was pinged by co-accused Zane Killian, who testified it was Modack who instructed him to track Booth's whereabouts.
Wolmarans used the testimony of Hawks Colonel Edward Clarke to show how three of Modack's co-accused were in constant communication before the attempt on Booth's life in April 2020.
A former-accused-turned-State-witness who admitted to being the driver for the Booth attack previously implicated Ziyaad Poole, Toufeek Brown and Riyaad Gesant for being involved.
"I'm going to argue that the reason there is this cooperation. This alignment of their behaviour. Is because they have the same boss... you?"
Wolmarans is set to question Modack about the murder Kinnear when he returns to the witness box.
