WEATHER: Johannesburg and Pretoria set for warm, mostly dry Friday

Residents of Johannesburg and Pretoria can look forward to a warm, mostly pleasant day tomorrow, with abundant sunshine, and minimal rain risk — a perfect excuse to step outdoors.

As the weekend begins, both Johannesburg and Pretoria are expected to enjoy warm, mostly dry weather under partly cloudy to sunny skies, according to AccuWeather.

In Johannesburg, temperatures tomorrow will reach a high of about 25 °C and dip to a low of 14 °C. The skies are forecast to clear late, with light clouds during the day, a very low chance of thunderstorms (around 6%), and only a 25% chance of rain.

Winds are expected from the NNW at about 13 km/h, gusting up to 32 km/h.

UV levels will be very high.

Pretoria is set for similar weather, with a forecast high around 27 °C and an overnight low close to 16 °C.

The day is expected to start with low clouds that will gradually give way to sunshine, and precipitation chances remain modest at roughly 19%.

Overnight, skies should stay mostly clear. Light east-southeast winds of about 10 km/h are expected.
