Western Cape police believe they've brought a halt to a spate of house break-ins in Simon's Town and Fish Hoek after the arrest of four suspected burglars.
Police spokesperson Ndakhe Gwala says a SAPS intelligence unit gathered information about the housebreaking incidents before handing it over to the flying squad, who went on a hunt for the suspects yesterday.
Gwala says the officers pulled over a white Fortuner in Simon's Town on Thursday.
"During the search, they found a laptop, a phone, and household items, and were informed that another house was broken into in Simon's town. The three suspects were arrested for possession of stolen property and housebreaking. They will appear in Simon's Town magistrate’s court."
