Man accused of orchestrating DJ Warras murder to hear verdict of bail application

The man accused of orchestrating the murder of Warrick Stock, aka DJ Warras, is expected back in court on Monday morning for the verdict of his bail application.
Forty-four-year-old Soweto taxi boss Victor Majola is facing charges of premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit a crime linked to the high-profile execution of the media personality, who was gunned down in the Johannesburg CBD more than a month ago.

Majola's bail application stretched over four days at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court last week.
Victor Majola began his bail application last Tuesday when the State called on the investigating officer in the case to testify.
Captain Abe Montwedi of the Gauteng Provincial Investigation Unit alleged that Majola was the mastermind behind Stock's murder.
He alleged that Majola was found in possession of personal information about DJ Warras on his cellphone, including his vehicle registration and address.
The court further heard that Majola's girlfriend, Hlengiwe Buthelezi, was one of five people Stock made protection order applications against four days before he was killed on 16 December.
While Majola will hear his fate on bail on Monday, police remain on the hunt for the shooter and his accomplice, who were caught on CCTV footage carrying out the murder.
