Police bust Hanover Park drug den, seize dagga and cash

A 36-year-old man has been arrested with a large amount of dagga and cash in Hanover Park, Cape Town.

Police say they received a tip-off about drug-dealing activities at a house in the area and searched the premises.

Police spokesperson FC van Wyk says officers seized four medium-sized bags of dagga and an undisclosed amount of cash.

"The suspect was arrested for dealing in dagga and detained at Philippi SAPS. He is due to appear in the Athlone Magistrates' Court on Monday, 2026-02-09, on the mentioned charges."
