The fourth suspect in connection with the murder of e-hailing driver Isaac Satlat is now expected to appear at the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The suspect, who was arrested after handing himself over to police on Monday, was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday but officials said he is currently being processed and not ready for proceedings.

Satlat was murdered by passengers who had requested a ride on the Bolt service last Wednesday in Pretoria West.

The suspect is expected to face charges of premeditated murder and hijacking alongside his three co-accused.

The four suspects are alleged to have participated in the murder of 22-year-old Satlat, who was reportedly strangled to death last Wednesday after the suspects requested a ride.

The incident was seen in a video widely circulated on social media and was captured by a dashcam inside his car.

His body and vehicle were later discovered in Attridgeville on the same day.

The three initial suspects previously appeared before the same court on charges of premeditated murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
