Six suspects due in court in connection with Isaac Satlat murder and robbery
Satlat was allegedly robbed and killed by his passengers in an attack caught by the car's dashcam.
His body and vehicle were later discovered in Attridgeville on the same day.
Six suspects have been linked to the murder and are expected to appear at the Pretoria Magistrates Court on Monday.
Ashmons said the family does not condone what Satlat did.
“We as a family, we're not going to endorse that, we're not going to say, even though he was sad the way he was brutally murdered, but we're not going to justify that, to say that because he was brutally murdered, so he wasn't in the wrong.
“We, as a family, don't condone that, but at the same time, we have to move on. He was a young person who was trying to make ends meet, we understand all of that, but we're just glad that he wasn't involved in something that is very criminal, extremely criminal, and also extremely violent.”
