ActionSA's Tshwane councillor, Kholofelo Morodi, could be in hot water after evidence at the Madlanga Commission showed her sharing internal tender documents with Gauteng cop Sergeant Fannie Nkosi.
Morodi, who is also the MMC for corporate and shared services, WhatsApped Nkosi a document showing bid specifications for land lease tenders.
At the time, Nkosi was in touch with several officials at the metro to secure a tender for his brother’s company.

WhatsApp messages before the Madlanga Commission reveal that Nkosi and Morodi were together celebrating her birthday on 2 December 2024.
On the same day, Morodi sent Nkosi a message thanking him for making her birthday special.
That message is then followed by an internal document with the Tshwane municipality’s recommended specifications for several land lease tenders.
Nkosi said he had no interest in the tender.
“We had a discussion about the land that was to be leased to the public, she then sent it to me that these are the kind of buildings that the city leased. This one, automatically, it was already being cancelled and on a public platform.”
At the same time, ActionSA has released a statement, saying it's initiating an investigation against members implicated in the commission.
