JOHANNESBURG - ActionSA President Herman Mashaba will on Monday announce some of the candidates his party is fielding to represent it in the National Assembly.
This is the party's first go at national and provincial polls, as it seeks to appoint skilled professionals to represent it on various subject matters.
Mashaba is expected to announce his team 'Fix-It' in Johannesburg.
This announcement follows the resignation of former Health Professionals’ Council of South Africa President Dr Kgosi Letlape from the African National Congress.
Eyewitness News understands a brand strategist, a social activist, a former councillor and former members of the provincial legislature will be among the names to be revealed.
ActionSA’s Samkelo Mgobozi said the candidates were strictly vetted.
"These candidates emerge from an extensive and rigorous head-hunting process, that took place over several months to get the best candidates to represent the party in the National Assembly.”
