Organisers of the highly anticipated Hey Neighbour Festival have announced that the festival will no longer be taking place in 2025.

The festival was originally set to take place over three days in August 2025 with a star-studded lineup which included the likes of Central Cee, Doja Cat and Leon Thomas.

It was later moved to December 2025 and revised to two days but his date has also been cancelled.

“This shift is to allow adequate time to secure the necessary artist lineup, funding and to build an experience that truly captures the event’s signature spirit of community and connection,” the statement reads.

Hey Neighbour’s Glen Netshipise says it was a “difficult but necessary decision”.

“[It] allows us the time to build a solid foundation for a spectacular celebration in 2026. We’re committed to creating a festival worth the wait.”

All ticket holders can request refunds via the Hey Neighbour ticketing portal.
