Iconic South African group Mango Groove celebrates 40 years in music, with an epic concert in Johannesburg.

The integrated group came together in the 1980s, paying homage to the sounds of the '50s in Sophiatown.

“We were really doing what we believed in… we only realised as we went along that it was a statement that we were making.”
– Claire Johnston, lead singer of Mango Groove

They will celebrate with a special concert at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens in Johannesburg on Sunday, 14 September.

They will be joined by Ross Learmonth and Majozi.

Tickets are available on the Webtickets website here.

“It’s just going to be 11 crazy Mangos on stage, lots of fun surprises and quite emotional… it’s going to be quite nostalgic, and we are so excited.”
– Claire Johnston, lead singer of Mango Groove
