JOHANNESBURG - Several northern suburbs in Johannesburg may experience low water pressure as Rand Water embarks on a valve replacement project.
The replacement, which was postponed last Thursday due to severe weather conditions, is set to begin on Friday from 5pm.
The water utility said the replacement of faulty infrastructure formed part of corrective maintenance to prevent future interruptions and inconvenience.
Rand Water spokesperson Makenosi Maroo: "The maintenance work to replace the faulty valve is expected to take up to 20 hours starting from Friday, 19 January from 17:00 to Saturday 20 January at 13:00."
