Pokémon fans, would you choose a Cheeto chip shaped like Charizard?

On 10 February, in a moment of disbelief and nostalgia, a Cheeto chip shaped like Charizard, affectionately named the 'Cheetozard,' went up for auction with Goldin.

To jog your memory, Charizard is the dragon-looking Pokémon who uses its wings to fly sky-high -- with more experience it gains in battle, the greater the temperature at which its flames burn, making it a worthy opponent.

Cheetozard has since surpassed over R73, 000 ($4,000) in bidding with several says still to go until bidding ends on 1 March at 7 pm, say reports.

The auction house for high-end collectibles, is auctioning the Cheetozard as part of their 2025 February Pop Culture Elite Auction.

"Would you spend that on a chip because you love Charizard so much? Uhm... no, but anyway, fans are fans," says Friedman.
