Morero vows to close all potholes in some of Joburg's northern suburbs by end August

JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg Mayor Dada Morero has vowed to close all potholes in some suburbs in the north of the metro by the end of August.
The mayor revealed this on Thursday during the war on potholes campaign launch in Hyde Park.
The city’s road agency has begun its initiative to fix all targeted potholes in Ward 90.
Morero also mentioned that they would be repairing all the other broken and dilapidated infrastructure.
"We are also doing stormwater, we are also doing reinstatement, so that is the programme that we will be doing in this week for the next at least 30 days and then we will assess in the next 30 days where are we, where are the gaps, what needs to still be done in the area."
