Court hears that man arrested for Mpho Mafole's murder also facing a separate murder charge

JOHANNESBURG - It has emerged that the man arrested in connection with the murder of a senior forensic auditor in the City of Ekurhuleni is also facing a separate murder charge.
Thabani Goodwill Ntshalintshali appeared in the Kempton Park Magistrates Court on Wednesday in relation to the murder of Mpho Mafole.
Mafole was shot in June on the R23 highway while driving home from a work-related meeting.

His attorney, Sibusiso Dlamini, confirmed that Ntshalintshali was currently out on bail for a different murder case.
"Currently having a pending case in this court. It is scheduled on the 12th of August for trial. For the sake of brevity and moving forward, I do confirm that the bail application in this matter will fall within the ambit of schedule six, so the State can dispense with the certificate thereof."
The case has been postponed to 15 August for additional court procedures.
