The 2025/26 season will mark Mngqithi’s return to Arrows after a decade.

He says he has been intentionally moving under the radar, preparing to take on the season ahead, as there was much work to be done.

Arrows concluded the 2024/25 Betway Premiereship season in 12th place.

Mngqithi says the Abafana Bes'thende will be a more energetic, exciting side to watch and will surprise many people in the upcoming season.

This includes several new signings, including youngsters from Midlands Wanderers FC.

He is confident the youngsters will have a major impact on the team.

“They excite me… The team has improved leaps and bounds in many aspects, but we will have to see when it comes to real business... whether we are where we think we are or we still have a lot of work to do.”
