A video of a Cape Town father who confronted his children’s bully was recorded by a teacher and circulated on social media.
The father showed up on the school grounds and grabbed the child while others tried to separate them.
This was not the first time this father had fought with this pupil after feeling his children’s complaints were ignored by the school.
He argues that if his children had been listened to then the situation would not have needed to escalate.
Hartebeest says the father told her that his daughter, aged 11, was being physically bullied and his son, aged 13, was forced to pay protection money.
