Joburg City Power said that it is confident it will win its case against the Hawks in the Gauteng High Court over recent raids at its headquarters.
The matter was expected to be heard on Tuesday but was postponed to Friday to give the Hawks time to file answering affidavits.
City Power maintains the recent search and seizure operation carried out by the Hawks was unlawful, arguing the warrants used were invalid.
Spokesperson Isaac Mangena said that the utility stands firm that the raid had no legal basis.
"We are confident that we will get this relief that we are seeking and we will be able to cooperate with the Hawks during their investigations. This is something that we have been doing since November last year."
