Woman's body found with multiple gunshot wounds in Manenberg

Police are searching for suspects responsible for the murder of a woman in Manenberg.
 
The victim's body was found in Tambo Village, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
 
She'd been shot several times.
 
The police's Ndakhe Gwala said that officers were chasing a suspected stolen vehicle when they found the deceased.

"As they entered Oliver Tambo Avenue, they spotted a body of a woman behind a grey electric box. The deceased sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her legs and neck. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this point. Anyone with information regarding this incident is kindly requested to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111."
