Political fixer Brown Mogotsi said he felt suppressed by the line of questioning from chairpersons and the evidence leader at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
On Thursday, Mogotsi was interrogated for the entire day over numerous inconsistencies in his testimony.
He, ultimately, conceded that some of his statements were untruthful and based on hearsay.

During the intense questioning, Mogotsi appeared visibly uncomfortable and told the chairperson that he felt suppressed.
Mogotsi was not only questioned about the inconsistencies in his testimony but was also questioned by co-chairperson Advocate Sandile Khumalo about his date of birth.
Mogotsi said, “I was not actually born in 1979; I was born in 1977.”
Khumalo responded, “So that’s another lie in your affidavit because you said you were born in 1979.”
Mogotsi said, “No, it’s not a lie. I was born in 1977, and 1979 was just an error on my ID by Home Affairs.”
Mogotsi appeared visibly uncomfortable and breathed a sigh of relief at the conclusion of the proceedings.
He is expected to return on a date yet to be confirmed, while the commission will continue with new testimony on Tuesday, next week.
