Miss Mexico crowned Miss Universe 2025

Miss Mexico, Fátima Bosch, was crowned Miss Universe 2025 on Friday in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 25-year-old humanitarian and volunteer was crowned by last year’s winner, Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark.

After the swimwear round, the top 30 contestants were narrowed down to 12, and then down to five after the evening round.

Thailand’s Praveenar Singh came runner-up, with Venezuela’s Stephany Abasali, the Philippines’ Ahtisa Manalo, and the Côte d'Ivoire’s Olivia Yacé also making it to the top five.

This year’s edition of the pageant was not without controversy.

Miss Mexico staged a public walkout after she was berated by Miss Universe Thailand director  Nawat Itsaragrisil during a pre-pageant meeting earlier this month.
