WEATHER: Johannesburg and Pretoria set for warm, windy skies on Thursday

On Thursday, both Johannesburg and Pretoria can expect warm, sunny conditions with strong gusty winds as a cold front moves aside, according to AccuWeather.

In Johannesburg, the high is forecast at around 25.6 °C with northwest winds of about 11 km/h and gusts reaching roughly 26 km/h, under mostly cloudy skies, with a 25 % chance of rain. 

Meanwhile, Pretoria will see a warmer high near 28.3 °C with north-westerly winds around 13 km/h, gusting up to about 32 km/h.

Light morning thunderstorms are possible, with a 55 % probability of precipitation, followed by mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions for the remainder of the day.

The UV Index will be high.
