The search continued for two men who were caught on CCTV footage carrying out the murder of Warrick Stock, popularly known as ‘DJ Warras’.
On Monday morning, the man accused of orchestrating Stock’s murder was denied bail in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.
Soweto taxi boss Victor Majola failed to cite exceptional circumstances to warrant his release.
Stock was shot five times outside a hijacked building called Zambesi House in December.
During his bail application, the court heard that Majola was found with personal information on his cellphone related to Stock on the day of his arrest.

Majola was arrested and charged with premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit the crime six days after Stock was killed.
Magistrate Annelise Tlhapi questioned why the accused possessed these details.
“It is strange as to why the applicant’s girlfriend had to share the photos, registration documents and personal details of the deceased with the applicant and it’s questionable because later the deceased was killed,” Tlhapi said.
Investigating officer Abe Montwedi previously testified that CCTV footage showed Majola colluding with the man who shot Stock earlier in the day.
“The applicant is the one that orchestrated everything and he made sure the deceased is going to be shot on that day,” Montwedi testified.
The case was postponed to 11 February for further investigation.
