South Africans can expect largely clear and sunny conditions across major cities on Tuesday, though temperatures will vary sharply between the coast and inland regions, according to AccuWeather.
Cape Town is set for intense heat during the day, with a high of 35 °C. Conditions will be hot and sunny, increasing the danger of dehydration and heatstroke during strenuous activities.
Winds will blow SSE at 13 km/h, with gusts up to 33 km/h. Skies are expected to remain clear.
At night, temperatures will drop to 22 °C, with clear and warm conditions. Winds shift slightly to SE at 13 km/h, with gusts up to 28 km/h.
Johannesburg will experience sunny and pleasant weather, with daytime temperatures reaching 25 °C.
Winds are expected from the ESE at 11 km/h, with gusts around 30 km/h.
