Minister of Finance Enoch Godongwana will lead South Africa’s delegation at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos next week.
The annual meeting runs from 19 to 23 January, under the theme "A Spirit of Dialogue".
South Africa aims to highlight its improving economic position and growing investor confidence.
South Africa’s delegation will position the country as an attractive destination for investment.
Treasury said progress such as the stabilisation of the electricity grid, an upgrade to the sovereign credit rating by Standard & Poor’s demonstrates positive economic momentum.
South Africa was also removed from the Financial Action Task Force's grey list after being slated in February 2023 for its deficiencies in anti-money laundering efforts.
Officials added that these developments form part of the country’s medium-term growth strategy, which aims to accelerate structural reforms, strengthen state capability, and invest in growth-enhancing infrastructure.
