Another day, another head coach for Mamelodi Sundowns.
The club has officially appointed Miguel Cardoso.
The 52-year-old Portuguese coach comes from ES Tunis, the team that knocked Sundowns out of the CAF Champions League semi-final earlier this year.
“They are looking at Miguel as the guy that can take them forward, as someone that can take them to the CAF Champions League win.”

This is the Tshwane team’s third coach this year, with Manqoba Mngqithi lasting just five months after replacing Rhulani Mokwena.
Goalkeeper coach Wendell Robinson and assistant coach Romain Folz have been booted.
“Flemming Berg (Sports Director) has always been adamant that there has to be a high level of performance… The one thing everyone has associated with at Sundowns is the Champions League trophy… They want to add a second star.”
– Bareng-Batho Kortjaas, Sports editor – Sunday Times
