EFF Youth Command's threat to protest outside Milnerton High School fails to materialise

Protesters are yet to gather outside Milnerton High School after promising to return to the school following the assault of a grade ten pupil on school grounds.
In a video of the incident, the 16-year-old is seen being beaten by grade eleven pupils.
The school has suspended eight pupils related to the incident.
A police investigation is also underway.
There's no sign of the EFF Youth Command outside the school.

Protesters gathered at the school on Wednesday, demanding answers from the school management.

They've accused the principal of not acting fast enough.
Father of a grade ten pupil at the school, Genius Mnywabe, asked protesters to be mindful of pupils writing exams.
"I ask all protesters, they're protesting peacefully, which is good, but also to consider that it is matric time, and yes the kids messed up but they still young enough, their lives are not over. I hope everyone receives the necessary counselling."
As more videos emerge of bullying at the school, Mnyabe has called for more measures to address school bullying across the Western Cape.
